How long do the press-ons last?
The longevity of your press-on nails depends on your application method and skills:
• Sticky Tabs: 3 days to 2 weeks
• Nail Glue: Approx. 2 weeks
• Combination of Sticky Tabs & Nail Glue: 2 to 3 weeks
How do I apply press-ons?
We recommend the combination method of sticky tabs and nail glue (provided in our complimentary tool kit) for easier application and best results.
1. Prep
• Push back your cuticles using the crystal stick.
• Buff your natural nails to remove any shine or oil.
• Wipe your nails with the provided alcohol wipe.
2. Apply
• Select the correct size sticky tabs and place them on your nails, leaving 1–2mm from the cuticle.
• Press the sticky tabs firmly to ensure they reach every corner of your nail bed.
• Add a dot or two of glue inside the press-on nail.
3. Press
• Align the press-on nail 1mm away from the cuticle.
• Push the sticky tab towards the cuticle as you press the nail down.
• Press firmly for at least 30 seconds.
*Important: Avoid contact with water for at least 3–4 hours after application.
How do I remove press-ons?
1. Soak
• Soak your nails in a bowl of hot water, soap, and oil for 10–15 minutes.
2. Remove
• Gently insert the cuticle stick to lift off the press-on nail.
• Roll off any excess sticky tabs or residue from your natural nail.
3. Store
• Place your Fairy nails back in their case to keep them clean and ready for reuse.
*Tip: Be gentle during removal to avoid damaging the nails or your natural nail bed.
Can I do some buffing or adjustment to the nails?
Absolutely! Buffing or adjusting your nails is completely normal, very common, and even recommended. Everyone’s nail bed is unique, so slight adjustments to the sides of the nails may be necessary for a perfect fit.
